The complexity of the game is a welcome surprise and you really feel like you are in command like a Captain Kirk commanding one of the Star Trek fleet ships. The Game BasicsĪs stated before: FTL: Faster Than Light is a top-down game with its 2D pixel art giving it a retro look. I love the random story as I explore the unknown in an attempt to stay ahead of the rebel fleet. Where some might push to win the game, I see FTL as my go-to game to unwind for 15 to 30 minutes.
